- To produce a publication by Filipinos for Filipinos but without excluding people of other nationalities who are related to Filipinos by marriage and others
- To promote multiculturalism and build bridges with Maori, Pakeha and other ethnic communities for a cohesive and harmonious future in this our adopted country
- To be a platform that facilitates contacts and communication with Government agencies, services providers, the education sector and the business community
